Drowning Pool is a metal band from Dallas, Texas that came to fame in the early 2000s. The band’s history has been marred by tragedy, with the loss of two vocalists – Dave Williams and Ryan McCombs. Drowning Pool formed in 1996 with original members Cj Pierce on guitar, Mike Luce on drums, and Stevie Benton on bass. Dave Williams was the voice behind Drowning Pool’s iconic hit song Bodies. Unfortunately, he passed away from cardiomyopathy in 2002 while on tour.
