When negativity wins. Music is loved far and wide, but it can also be a source of great pain. Anyone who has poured time, effort and love into creating music they believe in can relate to the hurt that comes when their project fails to reach the ears of many or have the desired impact. Even when we factor out any notion of stardom or acclaim, disappointment can take many forms. A song we thought turned out promising sounding hollow through our speakers at home; receiving critical feedback online; an album finished and ready to share with yet only few setting eyes on it… At every turn as an artist one faces potential disappointment in music production and approval processes; but at the same time this harsh reality becomes forever a part of one's growth process in their endeavors.
